Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Dallas, TX. I work as an airline pilot, safety analyst, and computer technician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have four wonderful children and a loving wife. I have been working as an airline pilot for four years now which has been a lifelong dream of mine. My father is also an airline pilot which is how I became interested in the profession. I also have a strong interest in computers and electronics. I also love music and the theater. Before becoming an airline pilot I worked as an IT professional for ten years, mostly as a network administrator.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon and I have always found joy and peace in the teachings. I grew up in Texas where there were very few Mormons in the schools I attended. As a teenager, I wanted to find out for myself if the teachings were true. I studied the Book of Mormon and the Bible as best as I could and I prayed to find out if it was true. The answer I received confirmed to me that what I had learned was true. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has brought me joy, happiness, and countless blessings. Our Heavenly Father loves us more than we can possibly imagine and He wants us to be happy. This gospel is His plan of happiness.

How I live my faith

I attend Church meetings each week where I currently serve in our ward's High Priest Group leadership. I am also a home teacher where I enjoy visiting several wonderful families each month. I strive to help out wherever I can to support my church leaders. Growing up involved in the arts, I also enjoying singing in church meetings from time to time. Serving in the church is a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow and receive countless blessings.
