Hi I'm Patti

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother, science teacher, and creator. I most love creating something from nothing -- children's stories, crafts, works of art, and even entire organizations. I enjoy learning about the magnificent creations that God has given us. I especially delight in spending time with my family outdoors where we can partake of His beautiful handiwork firsthand. As an avid family historian, I actively engage in tracing my roots from southwestern Pennsylvania back to the beautiful countries of Croatia and Montenegro. I love travelling to significant places in our family history and meeting new cousins around the world. I consider technology to be a miraculous blessing that enables us to discover and foster these world-wide family relationships -- for a loving family is the ultimate possibility of His creative power.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a family of religious diversity. For this reason I was encouraged from a young age to explore different philosophies and to discover a religion that best suited me. As a teenager I found it fascinating to read about many world religions and to participate with the various religious groups in my community. In my pursuit of Truth I learned, as referenced by the Apostle Peter, that the story of Jesus Christ was more than just a "cunningly devised fable". I discovered that Christ is Our Savior and Redeemer. The pages of the Book of Mormon, like the Bible, testify of His Divinity and strengthen my faith in Him. I know that He loves all of the world's children and desires all to come unto Him.

How I live my faith

The true measure of my faith is evidenced by my commitment to family -- past, present, and future. I am grateful for my parents, grandparents, and ancestors who have sacrificed for me and who have bestowed upon me a tremendous heritage of righteousness and strength. I see myself in their stories and learn from their life experiences. My husband and I feel their guiding hands as we pass along a rich legacy of love to our own children and grandchildren. We adore our grandchildren and consider it an honor and privilege to help them develop faith in themselves and faith in the Savior.
