I was born in Vladivostok Russia,Adopted with 2 other boys, live in Columbus Greogia.Yes I am a Georgia peach, and a Mormon.

I am an official representative of Jesus Christ, known as a Missionary. I am currently serving in the Ft Collins Colorado Mission. I only have a short time left on my mission, but am so grateful for the many opportunities I have been given to bless others. I am very talented in many things. I love sports and the outdoors. I love to serve others and see if I can make a difference in others life. (William.Murphy@myldsmail.net)

Why I am a Mormon

I've researched into many other religions and have found many truths, but also many lies. In the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, I have found that this is His church by many different ways. I've felt a great measure of God love every time I enter one of His meetings houses. His church is world wide and the doctrines that are taught inside are the save very exact doctrine that our savior Jesus Christ taught when He was on the earth to establish his church and to redeem us from our sins. I have found that our lives aren't going to be easy if we follow Christ. It wasn't easy for Him to suffer for us. He suffered for everyone who has every lived and experienced pains, affliction, hardships, trials. We are not just saved by accepting Christ. Jesus Christ said come follow ME... we need to accept Him and continue to follow him for the rest of our lives, by having faith, repenting of our sins and stop making those sins, to be baptized just as He did, to receive the Holy Ghost that will guide you in everything that you do if you are worthy and willing to follow Christ and endure to the end, DOING YOUR VERY BEST, just as Christ gave his entire Life For Us. Our Heavenly Father wants to bless us if we are obedient to his commandments and come unto Christ. Come unto Him, and partake of Everlasting Happiness and Eternal Life with our family's. This is why I am a Mormon. God has promised us that we can be with our loved ones forever and one day to become like him. Our Heavenly Father loves us. Just know that he has perfect love for you.

How I live my faith

I live my life be a good example to others. Almost like there is a little child watching you, and watching everything that you are doing. I live to be a go influence, to lift others and uphold the things I so strongly believe in. As a missionary, I study each day to help myself as well as other people become closer to the Lord. He has influenced my life for the better and has help me overcome many challenges. He continues to do so and I have so much faith in Him. I plan on continuing my study of His doctrine and his Gospel daily and for the rest of my life. Nothing has brought more joy and happiness than The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.I invite you to read the Book of Mormon and pray and ask God if it is true. I know that these things will bless your life. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

William Murphy
You can be forgiven of your sins through the Atonement of Jesus Christ by the process of repentance. Because Heavenly Father knew we would sometimes make wrong choices, He provided a way for us to be forgiven of our sins (John 3:16). He provided a Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross so that when we sincerely repent, we can be forgiven (Book of Mormon, Mosiah 4:6). What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

William Murphy
Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God. His birth, life, death, and resurrection fulfilled the many prophecies contained in the scriptures concerning the coming of a Savior. He was the Creator, He is our Savior, and He will be our Judge (see Isaiah 9:6, 53:3-7; Psalms 22:16-18). Under the direction of our Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ created the earth (John 1:10; Hebrews 1:2). When Jesus lived on the earth (approximately 2,000 years ago), He led a perfect life. He taught by word and example how people should live in love of God and others. Through His suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and by giving His life on the cross—that is, by performing the Atonement —Jesus Christ saves us from our sins (1 Peter 2:21) as we follow Him. Because of the Atonement, you can be forgiven of your sins when you sincerely repent (Book of Mormon, Mosiah 26:30). Through His Resurrection, Jesus Christ saved us from death. Because He overcame death, we will all be given the gift of resurrection, that is to say our spirits will be eternally re-united with our bodies (Acts 24:15; 1 Corinthians 15:22). When life on this earth is over, Jesus Christ will be the final Judge (Acts 17:31; John 5:21-22; Acts 10:42). Show more Show less
