Hi I'm Sherelle Eichorst

I know my family can be together forever, I know prayers are answered, I love life, and I love being a Mormon!

About Me

I am a small town country girl that loves adventure and having fun. I love the country, trees and all of God's beautiful creations. I have a mom, a dad, a step-dad, an older brother and an older sister, loads of cousins and aunts and uncles. Family is one of the most important things in my life and I am so lucky to be in the family that I am in. I grew up playing sports (volleyball, basketball, softball, and a little bit of cheer I was the mascot). These activities on top of church activities helped me to learn how to manage my time with care. I also worked at a firework distrabution center for a little while which was a lot of hard work but taught me skills needed to be a hard worker in the future. The church has played a huge part in who I am and how I think today. I look at life with a perspective of the future and not just the now and that has helped me to think about if the situation will help or hurt me in the future. I know that this will help me to be able to make good choices and be the wife and mother I want to be one day. I am currently serving a mission for the church in the England, Manchester Mission and it has been such a wonderful oppertunity so far to get to know the people here and call them my friends. I know there is a reason that we are here on this Earth and I know that through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints you can find out what that reason is! Ask the Missionaries near you they can help and want to help. (:

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. At first I did it because I was raised that way, but as I grew up and gained knowledge of the gospel I realized that I really did believe the teachings and I had a my own personal conversion. The teachings I was taught began to give me goosebumps and I felt warm inside. This was my way of knowing that the teachings were true. The feelings you get can be different for each person. Now going to church meetings, and reading my scriptures helps me feel the spirit and manifests unto me how true the words of the prophets of old, and today really are. It also helps me realize this gospel has been restored to the earth today for ALL of us. I am thankful to be part of this church and know the truthfulness of it.The greatest reason of all though is being able to see the joy this gospel brings to people. Seeing the changes begin in those people that you start to love is one of the BEST feelings you can ever get. I am so glad I am now a missionary and I get to teach the gospel to the people in England.

How I live my faith

Living my faith has not always been an easy thing to do for me. Going through high school I often felt like it was me against everyone else in the school. I started to read my scriptures daily and i felt a lot better about standing up for my faith. It began to get easier and easier as time went on. I have realized though that when you are doing what you need to be doing everything falls into place. I have went down the road that I choose not to practice my faith and I can tell you that it is a dark and lonely road. I love this gospel and I show it by serving others. When we put others ahead of our wants we have the true love of Christ in us and there will never be a greater feeling then that!
