Hi I'm Warren

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into the chruch and raised in the Mexican Mormon Colonies. I am the youngest of 11 children. I attended several colleges and universities, but ended up as an Aircraft Mechanic where I worked grave yard shifts for nearly 25 years. Now I am the Aircraft Maintenance Training Coordinator. I am a proud father of four wonderful girls, 3 growing grandkids, and a grand dog. I have to force myself to have a hobby because I am so busy with family, church, and work responsibilities. Some of the wonderful things I enjoy are camping with my family, photography, geocatching, scuba diving, flying, and sleeping. I especially enjoy spending time with my wife and enjoy her cooking, especially enchiladas.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but had to work on my own conversion. It took more than one prayer and more than one month to develop a testimony. This is probably because I was so stuburn that I had to wait until I realized that I had to prove that I was sincere before I could receive my own personal answer and testimony. I now know that the answer is given out to all man with a sincere heart, with the right intent.

How I live my faith

A personal relationship with my Savior Jesus Christ, and my family is the thing that keeps me happy, by daily personal & family prayer, scripture study, filling my calling the best I can. Another thing that keeps me going is playing with my daughters, grandkids, & grand dog. It keeps my prospective of life in check. Some times when I do not think I have time to serve others. I think of the promise of serving others first, then you will be blessed with enough time to do the other things I need to do.

Are Mormons Christians?

Yes, more so than any other religion. The biggest lie from our detractors is that we do not believe in Christ. That could not be further from the truth. We have his name on all of our buildings of worship. He is the literal son of God, and was charged with under the direction of the Father to create/organize this world, for which in time he would come to this very earth to gain his own body, minister, save, suffer from his detractors, and be crucified. His last moments in Gethsemane and on the cross the Father let him bare the sins of all man kind all alone, so that his detractors, Satan nor his followers could ever say that the Father made the suffering easy by comforting and supporting him during those moments that only a God could withstand. Jesus Christ is not only my Leader, my King, and Savior but my friend that I can trust, and who loves me, and I love him. Show more Show less
