Hi I'm Jennifer

I'm a mother. I'm a paralegal. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three children that are the center of my life. I spend my days juggling homework, cub scouts, science club, field trips, and piano lessons. I enjoy watching them learn and grow. It is rewarding to invest my time and energy in their future. I work as a contract paralegal when I'm not volunteering at my children's school.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an active Mormon family and was taught the gospel from infancy. Early in my teen years, I read the Book of Mormon on my own for the first time. At the end, Moroni challenges us to pray to know if the words are truth. I took that challenge and received a real, undeniable answer to my prayer that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I made a commitment then to live according to the principles of the gospel.

How I live my faith

Because I have schoolaged children, most of my volunteer time is spent in the schools. This year, I am helping 1st and 2nd graders during their reading time. It is amazing to watch children learn to read, to see their smiles at success over words that had previously confused them. My husband and I also serve in our ward as the teachers for the 3-4 year olds, the Sunbeams. We have 11 sweet little children to teach each Sunday. They come running with smiles and hugs every week. I think about them throughout my week. I look forward to seeing them and find ways to include each child. Watching them learn simple principles of the gospel is so much fun.
