Hi I'm Alex Joyner

I love to sing. I'm an SNL enthusiast. I'm a clown. I'm a brother and a son. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the California Santa Rosa Mission. I'm serving a mission for many reasons. One of them being that I feel as if it would be selfish of me not to go and share what I know. I love music and performing and love sharing the gospel through my talents. I love my family! I really desire to bring others unto Christ through His restored gospel. Everything I do is centered around the love I have for my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church in an truly remarkable famliy, but I still had to find out if what I was raised in was true or not. I did, just as many others have, and studied it out in my mind, by reading The Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. I've come to gain a greater appreciation for this book and the teachings in it. I'm believe in, and am very grateful, for latter-day prophets and the revelation they receive for our day. I am also grateful for Temples, and the ordinances therein, that help make it possible to live with my family forever. I have a personal testimony that the true gospel of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth by the Prophet Joseph Smith.I know that my Heavenly Father and his Son Jesus Christ loves me.

How I live my faith

For me, living my faith is not just some place that you go to every Sunday; it is shaped around your daily choices. I live by the standards Heavenly Father wants me to live by. I try to set an example unto those I come in contact with everyday. I look for ways to be more Christ like and to serve Him and those around me in every way possible. I know without him, I would have nothing. I live my faith by loving my family and friends. I live my faith by serving in church callings. My faith grows as I truly have a desire to want to be better and live what know. I'm grateful for the knowledge I have and look for ways to increase it daily.
