Hi I'm Jason Ehmke

My wife and I have five daughters after being married 18 years. I work in Business Banking in Phoenix Arizona. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy spending free time with my family, reading, watching some TV, and playing tennis. I also like to participate in service opportunities whenever I come across them and time permits.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a second generation Mormon. My mom and dad were the first in their families to choose to be Mormons when they were teenagers. My parents taught me about the Mormon faith in our family life as they raised me as the oldest of their four sons. It wasn't until I was a teenager before I read The Book of Mormon and became converted in my heart to what had been taught to me in my youth. I have since served a 2 year mission for the Church. I have been married now for 18 years to a wonderful woman who is also a Mormon. We are currently raising 5 beautiful daughters who bring me much joy. I continue to try and remain faithful and in good standing each day with my membership in the Church because I see the blessings and spiritual strength that come to myself and my family as we strive to live in harmony with the teachings of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I currently have a local ward calling as an adviser, teaching the young men ages 16-18 on Sundays about what it will take to be prepared to serve a full-time mission for the Church. I also help in the scouting program as a scout leader at the Venture level with the same young men doing lots of outdoor activities which I really enjoy. I also try to participate in service activities when I can like helping with people moving into or out of the local congregation I meet with, house repair projects, and other community service projects .
