Hi I'm Nephi Brewer

Grew up in small town, love outdoors, graduated high school in 2012, own about 100 knifes &swords, a protector, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy collecting knives, swords, daggers, and tomahawks. I currently have about 100 blades most of which were gathered by trading while attending camps. I did feast of carols at the high school that I attended participating in sword fighting, staff fighting, singing, playing chimes and drums, and serving food to the guests. I was in color guard being the former captain of my junior year and advisor my senior year. I plan on going into the Marines once I return from my Church Mission then go into Body Guard Security work with the training I recieve. I was bullied in grade school and from then on vowed to protect others from suffering the same. I started teaching myself to fight and then my friends and I went around and stopped the bullies when we saw them picking on the weak. We only fought when we had to and stopped when the point was made that if they tried to hurt those who couldn't protect themselves, then we would step in and not only take the licking for them but return it. This may not have been the best way to go about it, but it was the best we knew how to do at that time. I've always had a strong desire to help and serve others, anybody close to me knows that I would take a bullet for them. My family and I raise and butcher our own cattle and somtimes goats, chickens, and pigs. I love the outdoors especially forests where one can go to just think and get away from the bustle of life. I enjoy playing basketball with my friends even though i'm not on an actual team.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have never felt more at home or comforted then when my family and I are living the teachings of the gospel and striving to learn more. Many people think that our church is like a prison that keeps us from doing what we want to do, but this could not be farther from the truth. The teachings of the church simply show us how to live worthily so we can live with our Heavenly Father again. These teachings aren't restrictions, they are the opportunity to choose freedom both on earth and after. We can choose what we want to do, but we have been warned of the consequences of our actions and thus must face up to them when we're brought to our Heavenly Father at the final judgement. We are not forced to do what the church teaches us because we have free agency to choose for ourselves. I had my doubts once as a teenager when i was trying to figure out what i wanted in life. I decided to take the council of my parents and church leaders to read the Book of Mormon and pray with real intent to know if it was true and was what i was supposed to do. After doing this, their was just a peaceful feeling that came over me and I could not deny that I believed in Christ and that this was the true church of Jesus Christ restored again on the earth with the authority of God to lead all the people in the world who would listen, back to live with our Heavenly Father once again. That the priesthood authority was necessary to truly baptize his children and perform other saving ordinances on earth and to come has indeed been restored in these days.

How I live my faith

I have no problem with just walking around town and helping those who are in need of an extra pair of hands. Doing service to others doesn't seem like a burden to me because I find it brings me comfort. If I'm in any emotional pain, I can find healing when I'm helping others who are in need of my help. People whom my friends and I help who are not members may come out to us and say "I don't believe in your religion, but I am thankful for the help" we may simply respond by saying "Some may say that is our religion"I served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the state of Iowa where I strove to help others build their faith in Jesus Christ and be able to return unto our Heavenly Father's presence once again. It didn't matter if they joined our religion, if their faith in Christ was strengthened then we were successful. I want to help others be able to come to the judgement seat of God the Father and his son Jesus Christ with no regrets in their lives.
