Hi I'm Bobby Thomas

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of five children. I have five incredible children, my daughter the oldest and four sons. I have been married for 25 years to the most devoted mother and loving compassionate woman in the world. She is my rock. I recently retired from the pharmaceutical industry in central Kansas only to buy a Papa Murphy's Pizza Franchise in Central Utah. I am an outdoorsman and love archery elk hunting in the Rocky Mountains on the border of Utah and Colorado. As a family we have hunted the red cloud loop area for 25 or more years. I use my time in a tree stand living in gratitude to a loving God that allowed me to quietly observe his majesty. I grew up as the son of a speckled trout fisherman on the Texas Gulf Coast and Bass fishing Lake Livingston and Conroe near Houston Texas. Hunting Texas Whitetail on a tree stand for hours at a time taught me the value of quiet solitude, study, meditation and prayer. I learned gratitude! I love my life and my family and I know a higher power has organized this world for our blessings.

Why I am a Mormon

I have lived more then half a century and gone to church every Sunday of my life and confess occasionally I find it a challenge to enjoy going to all my church meetings eagerly and enthusiastically. I go because I want the Lord to know I support those who work so hard to prepare lessons, talks and the sacrament. I go for my children and because each time I struggle, I return home grateful for the lessons I was taught and for the blessing of taking the sacrament (communion) I am a mormon because I have studied for years all the information I could find about God, His Son Jesus Christ and I have openly welcomed into my life wonderful friends teaching me their ideology, philosophy and personal beliefs on Islam, Buddah and science. I have dedicated each day of my life to read, study and pray over the word of God. I have studied other periodical and doctrines. My search for happiness is deeply personal and involves many paths which have led me to a loving Father wanting the very best for me and my family. I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Serving others bring me the greatest happiness. I live in service of others, and I know in the eyes of young scouts or in the smile of a senior, random acts of kindness go deep into the heart and whisper God is pleased. I seek the Lord and his inspiration and to live my life in a way that I will be identified as a follower of Christ. I know that obedience to God's commandments is a way in which I show Jesus Christ that of Love Him! I believe in paying life's blessings forward and I also believe in serving others as a way to fill my soul. I believe serving others illustrates Jesus Christ works through us all. My favorite story Christ taught is the good Samaritan.
