Hi I'm Mark Kosmicki

I love playing video games. I enjoy taking apart and putting together electronics. I love learning about history. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

My name is Mark and I am currently serving a mission in California. I come from a family of 7 kids and I am right in the middle. I love my family and they are the most important thing to me. I also enjoy video games and sports. Before my mission, I bought and sold items on eBay and also worked as a grounds keeper for a softball and baseball field complex. I really enjoy being outside and playing basketball with my younger siblings. I also have always loved taking apart electronics and trying to fix them and putting them back together. I am grateful for all the people in my life who have helped me learn of the importance of my Savior Jesus Christ and what he has done for me.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was on the Debate team in high school, I was often challenged with many dilemmas that seemed unanswerable. Some were philosophical and others were direct challenges to my faith. No matter what the question was or how much pressure my faith was under, it never broke. I have been raised in a Mormon household for my entire life and it was the challenges from outside the home that brought my testimony to be as strong as it is through trials and answers that I received through the scriptures and prayers to my Heavenly Father. I know that what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints teaches and believes is what God and Jesus Christ wants us to know and live. We have a prophet that leads and guides us on this earth today and I know that his authority is on the earth. I have a firm testimony of all those things and I also know that through sincere prayer, you can receive any answer that you seek directly from your Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in California. I have to wonderful opportunity to invite people to come unto Christ by helping them understand what we teach and how it can help everybody. I know that what I live and we teach as missionaries can help people in more ways than they can imagine. I had the opportunity before my mission to often go out with the missionaries and find out really what it is like to be a missionary. Before my mission, people would often ask me questions about what I believe and I would answer them to the best of my ability. It is also a great opportunity to teach them that all answers can be found through sincere prayer to their Father in Heaven.
