Hi I'm Elizabeth

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For the last few years I have been teaching in a local elementary school. I've really enjoyed seeing them stretch themselves and progress in life. They can be sweet and creative at times. Currently I am serving an LDS mission in the Detroit, Michigan area. I have three younger brothers. I enjoy reading, singing, going on hikes, and sitting barefoot under a tree on a nice warm day.

Why I am a Mormon

I am LDS because of the great comfort it brings to my life. Even when none other seem to understand I know I can kneel and speak to my Heavenly Father and He will understand. I can also know that my brother, the Savior has suffered through the same pains, joys, struggles, etc. that I have for my sake and that I can find comfort and strength in him. When life seems difficult and stressful because of school, work, family, etc. I know that with time things will change. The scriptures say: "My son, peace be unto thy soul; thine adversity and thine afflictions shall be but a small moment; And then, if thou endure it well, God shall exalt thee on high; thou shalt triumph over all thy foes" (Doctrine and Covenants 121:7-8).

How I live my faith

For my calling I participate in a small group of women in charge of helping and serving other women in our area. I find joy in getting to know them and serve them each.
