Hi I'm Mike

I'm a father, mechanical engineer, archer, bowhunter, and I run my own website. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father and mechanical engineer who enjoys archery, hunting, fishing, physics and learning. I love to spend time outdoors with my family and can often be found flinging arrows with my wife and kids. With my time left over from work, family and church obligations, I run my own archery related website.

Why I am a Mormon

I was originally born into the church to a family of faithful LDS members. My parents taught me the principles of the gospel and how to live as a faithful member of the Church. However, as I grew and learned more of the Church and it's teachings, I developed my own testimony and came to learn for myself of the truth of the gospel. The teachings of the church revolve around building the family unit and how important it is to love our families and develop eternal relationships. I especially enjoy the scripture from Doctrine and Covenants, 103:2 "And that same sociality which exists among us here will exist among us there, only it will be coupled with eternal glory, which glory we do not now enjoy." Our families are eternal and we should plan now to be with them forever!

How I live my faith

My favorite activities within the Church revolve around working with the youth. In the past I was Young Men's president and am currently the Ward Executive Secretary. I take every chance possible to work with the youth of the Church. The future belongs to them and I firmly believe that the more involved the leaders and parents of the youth are with them, the greater chance the youth have of remaining strong in their beliefs. Making the world a better place begins with taking the time to teach and love our own children and the youth of the world.
