Hi I'm George

I am a friend to those in need. I am a father of four wonderful kids. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a CPA in a large international accounting firm. I work hard to earn a living for my family and to provide excellent services for my clients. I come from a large family, where love and values were taught every day in a practical way. My mom is an angel, or at least as close to one as I ever expect to see in this life. Only my wife could ever rival her in that respect. I have four wonderful children, who have all been an incredible blessing to me throughout my married life. My oldest daughter has now graduated from college and is teaching 2nd grade in a local elementary school near her home. My oldest son is now serving a mission for the Mormon Church in the state of Washington. The next oldest has Williams Syndrome and has taught me more about the important things in life than any other single individual. It is my humble honor to be his father. Our youngest daughter has been a joy in my life since the day she was born.

Why I am a Mormon

Throughout my life, I have always embraced truth where ever I may find it. This practice is neither easy nor popular. This world is full of confusion and tumult. There are many who spread lies and half truths, and many who try to sell you their product without regard to truth or what is right. For me, finding a truth is like finding gold. You must pay the price to be a position to find that truth. You must research and study to find it for yourself. You must be able to distinguish between the fool's gold and the real thing. Once you do find a fleck of gold, you must properly value it and accept it for what it is. Truth is truth, whether it is popular or not. Truth is truth, whether it is hidden or in plain view. Truth is truth, regardless of where you find it. I am a Mormon because there is more truth and pure religion taught in its doctrine than in any other place in the world's religions. I am a Mormon because here I have found pure gold.

How I live my faith

For me, faith is not an abstract concept. Faith is an everyday principal by which I live and work. It takes faith to raise a family in today's world. It takes faith to work hard, even when the fruits of your labor are not apparent. It takes faith to stand up for the truth, when opposition rages. It takes faith to believe in God, in the face of wickedness all around you. Faith is a principal of power that allows me to take the next step as I walk through the darkness into the light. I walk in faith.
