Hi I'm Rebekka

I'm a student at Brigham Young Univeristy studying Organizational Behavior/Human Resource. And I LOVE God!!

About Me

I'm currently a student at BYU, loving every minute of it. This university has taught me to love learning, i.e., I will be a life-long student. I am NOT a runner, but my aunt convinced me to sign up for a half-marathon. I've worked as an American Heritage TA, so I enjoy teacing and working with students. I'm currently employed as a Resident Assistant at Heritage Halls, some of BYU's freshman dorms. I a huge fan of historical plays, american history, world history, you name it.

Why I am a Mormon

Every Mormon's conversion story is different. Some people are born into the church. Others find it throughout their life time. One thing you need to understand is that every single person has a conversion story, even those born into the church. This was the case for me; I was born and raised into the church yet never truly appreciated it as i should have. All my life I was told of the importance of spreading the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ yet I never really cared. I wasn't until God put me through a tough trial and I had to truly turn to him for help that I realized all he had done for me and others. It wasn't until that point that I became truly converted. At that point in time I felt the Father-Daughter relationship. I felt Loved. Cherished. I knew that he wouldn't make me do anything on my own. That's why I am a Mormon. God the Father has done so much for me and serving in His church is the only way I can repay him.

How I live my faith

I like to spend time with God daily. This includes conversing with him through prayer right when I wake up and before I hit my pillow. I love learning and studying his words because they provide direction in difficult times. Attending one of my church's temples brings me so much joy as I serve my family who has passed on.
