Hi I'm Moana

I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and work full-time. I grew up in Auckland New Zealand and live in Brisbane Australia I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married with 5 children and 6 grandchildren who all live within 5 mins of me. I work full-time for an Airline and love to travel!!! I am the youngest of 10 and love to just hang out at home in my spare time (spare time??? whats that lol). I enjoy sharing my musical talents and especially love learning about my culture Maori New Zealand and am part of a small family Kapahaka group who meet weekly.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe I would not be as happy as I am without the Gospel. Not only am I blessed to know that I am sealed to my family for all time and eternity, that our family life does not end here. This belief helps me work towards being the best wife and mother that I can be. Knowing that I am never alone helps me to be a positive person because i KNOW that all it takes is for me to kneel down and speak to my Heavenly Father when I am in need. I also know that I am a Child of God and He loves me unconditionally. I am grateful for all the blessings that I receive and for the principle of Repentance because...you know as well as I do we are not perfect and we sometimes make wrong choices but Heavenly Father wants us to succeed and live with him once more and he has given us this principle so that we may have the tools to get there some day. I am greatful for a living prophet who receives revelation especially for us in this day and age and with his counsel has helped me guide and keep my children safe from the pitfalls that they are constantly exposed to every day.

How I live my faith

I help teach children who are between the ages of 3-11 music and try my best to make it fun for them by basically being as silly and funny as I can be :) I have had the privilege to teach our young women 12-17 and see them grow into beautiful, confident and respectful young ladies. Participating in Camps and various activities with them such as bowling, pampering nights, helping them learn to budget, movie nights, service to the elderly, visiting nursing homes at Christmas to sing them carols, cooking dinner for parents to honour and cherish them and sometimes just sitting around and talking, laughing a lot and learning to love each other.
