Hi I'm Abigail

I love to sew, cook, and read. I am a mother, a wife to an amazing husband and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mother and love my job! I feel so very blessed to have a wonderful husband who makes it possible for me to be able to stay home with my kids everyday! I love to spend every waking second with my husband! I enjoy reading, hanging out with our friends and playing board games. I love the rain and overcast days which is unfortunate when you live in Arizona. I love to travel and be adventures but I am also perfectly happy sitting on my couch and watching my kids play while my husband watches Seinfeld and I read a nice book.

Why I am a Mormon

My Faith in Christ has always been there since I was a child, but something was always missing. i always felt like something was hanging in the air just above me and I couldn't grasp it. I was not raised LDS, but my Mother raised our family to love the Lord and always make Christ the up most important thing in our life. When my husband and I talked about getting married, I was worried about what we would teach our children. With my husband being LDS and I being raised Pentecostal Christian, I knew I wanted our children to love the Lord, but I had been raised to know Mormons were wrong in their teaching's. Over many discussions, we agreed to teach our children what we both believed and let them decide. Which, I was really not okay with, considering I was not even sure what I believed. I then pleaded to my husband, I wanted our goal when we got married to search out the true gospel. He agreed. We went to different churches as I wrote down question after question of things unanswered. I then met with missionares, and took over there lessons by asking all my questions! A few weeks later, they started asking me questions. I wish I could tell you what they asked me, but I just wanted to cry when they left and I did. I just knew this was it, this is what I had been looking for. I told my husband that night I was getting baptized and he responded "to what church!?" haha A month later, there I was getting baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day-Saints. Now my husband and I have an eternal family. All I can thank are the people who were around me in those times, that they were spiritually aware enough, to let the Holy Spirit provide a way to move through them to work on me. I know the power of the Holy Spirt can work in many ways. I know if you are looking for answers and have an open heart, Heavenly Father will not nor ever, lead you astray. I follow My Savior because he loves me and died for me and for that, I owe him everything.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my daily habits out of my home. Reading my scriptures, kneeling through daily prayers, going to church and partaking of the sacrament. Involving myself through fellowship in church. I find my faith growing stronger as I read my scriptures and follow what He has asked of me. It is laid out for me plain and simple, Heavenly Father makes it easy for me to follow him.
