I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I've taught 3rd grade. I'm a wife & mom who loves to play outside!

About Me

I enjoy digital scrapbooking, camping, and running. I've done a few marathons, half marathons, and relay races. I also love to dance. After winning a state championship for High School cheerleading, and taking a few college courses of dance, now I use that tallent to blast music in the kitchen and jump arond with my kiddos! I student taught 3rd grade befor recieving my masters degree in Elementary Education. I've worked a lot with childern, running summer camps and daycare programs. It's exciting to find and create new methods of teaching! Now I'm a full time mommy, enjoying busy, beautiful children. I like cooking up new recipies & the best part is having a hubby that will appreciate even the disasterous meals!

Why I am a Mormon

I had the privledge of being born into an LDS home. My parents taught me the gospel of the Church of Jesus Chist of Latter Day Saints. As a small child I felt what they taught me was true. As I went though trials and temptations as a teenager, studying the Book of Mormon combined with prayer instilled the reality of the sweet love my Heavenly Father and the Savior Jesus Chirst had for me individually. I've felt a deep desire to be the best I can be while I live on earth so that I may return to live with my Heavenly Father, Christ, and my family for eternity. I continue to be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints which entails daily scriputre study and prayer, church meetings, activites, service, and temple attendance. The church is my source of strength in times of difficulty. The message of the gospel gives me hope when despair seeks to enter my soul. The scriptures provide a history of valiant heros that inspire me to be better and seek the powerful attributes of charity, humility, and kindness. The Church, through it's scriptures, apostles and Prophet bears witness of the infinite atonement of Jesus Christ, enabeling all to repent and have joy.

How I live my faith

I visit and look after 2-3 women at least once a month. This is called visiting teaching. I've prepared and given lessons and talks for children and adults. I've played, led, and sung church music in meetings. I've organized activities such as sports, dinners, and dances. Currently, I'm participating in a group to produce a carnival for families and friends with special needs. The friendships forged working with others in service is priceless. I find great satisfaction in volunteering my efforts to serve others. Most of all my relationships with God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ are strengthened.
