Hi I'm Jay

I'm a Mormon. I'm a native of Arizona and I'm a short 6 foot 10 husband and dad of 4 active boys.

About Me

I played basketball for the majority of my life. I played in High School, then later on in college in Arizona and California. I served a mission in Venezuela and really learned to appreciate people from other cultures. I have a beautiful wife and 4 great boys who always make it entertaining for us.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converts to the church. Their neighbors invited them to a family home evening and my mom was very interested in the programs the church had for the youth. Subsequently, my parents listened to the missionaries and were baptized. I was born shortly afterwards. I'm a member of the church not only for the path my parents took but the blessings it provides me and my family. Life only seems to get more difficult and it is a blessing to have a church that is so family oriented and teaches how to be happy and hopeful in a world that can easily be difficult.

How I live my faith

My family and I attend church every Sunday. My wife and I try to attend the Temple as often as possible. Attending the Temple brings a lot of blessings to my life and the lives of my family. We pray as a family and read the scriptures. It brings us closer together and helps bring happiness into our lives.
