Hi I'm Ashton

I am recently a convert of the church from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I major in Public and Media Communication and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello and welcome my name is Ashton and I study Public and Media Communication in Fort Wayne Indiana. I love photography, playing guitar and piano. I also love to travel and meet new people. I love exploring new things and taking a chance on things I would not normally do. I have been to Haiti which looking into the future I hope to see myself on many lands to share the love my Father bestows upon me.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up knowing there was a God and that he loved me, but growing up I was always was asking questions that later I discovered were for a reason, that my questioning was a gift. When I was around the age of seventeen I found myself in many trials and faced with many bad decisions placed before me. Many I did not take because there was always good in me and I had no heart to take such foul things. I cannot say I am perfect nor can I say I am even perfect now, but I know that my heavenly father was upon me in those days as well as the present. I would always sit in former churches having this sense of unease. I would ask my questions and everyone would give me answers but not the ones I felt were right. Something in my being new there was more out there in this world and my beliefs I had were true I just had to seek. God gave me an open mind and an open heart which is such a blessing I wish many would have in this world, the many that won't take a stand, the same that feel the way I did. I discovered through a dear friend of mine, that later baptized me,the extraordinary story of a man by the name of Joesph Smith and all of what the church's gifts had for my life and you better believe it that when I knew that all of my beliefs were in this church my heart cried and blessed the Lord. After my second meeting with the missionaries they asked me to be baptized. I was so humbled because my heart was so deeply enjoined by this church already. I always knew this church to be true through out my life I just didn't know what it was. At twenty years old I am now a recently baptized convert of the church and my has it been an adventure. My family and friends all condemned me for my faith. It wasn't easy. I went through a lot but my faith never failed me because my father in heaven was always beside me. I am a Mormon because if I wasn't I would not have the faith, his love, and humble blessings in my life. I leave these words in the name of thy son Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

Faith is what we believe, but can not see. How I live my faith is through my testimony that I have gained through the church and of the restored gospel. Also serving my calling with the young women in the church and most of all my family keeps my faith stronger as I go through life.
