Hi I'm Patrick

I've lived on 4 different continents. I play guitar. I'm a dental student. I'm Mormon

About Me

My goal in life is to provide a better life for my wife and children than I have had. For years I worked and studied both full time and now I go to school full time to pursue an education in the field of dentistry. In my little free time I have I enjoy playing with my children running through the hall and giving them rides on my back, doing the things that kids love to do. I also enjoy music. I play various instruments but guitar is my favorite. When I have enough time I love to sit down and record songs that I have created. For many years I played in bands. Times have changed and new responsibilities have come into my life, but I still enjoy creating music.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not raised a member do this church. I did join when I was 11, but some years later after the death of my mother I stopped attending. For years I searched for something to fill my life as the gospel did when I joined. I tried many things but nothing seemed to fill that gap. At the age of 21 I found my self miles away from my family trying to play music in Los Angeles. I was prompted to make a visit to some of my old friends that I had made when I joined the church. Something was different about them. The happiness I sought was found in their lives. They were living the gospel. The next week I changed my life and came back to church. Again I discovered the gospel and I put it in action in my life. Since then I have had many of the same trials and problems many of us have had, but my Father in Heaven has blessed me with a peace and comfort. I known that our Heavenly Father loves us and that once again he has established his church on the earth again to bless his children.

How I live my faith

The gospel is an important part of my life and gives us the opportunity to reach out and help others. For the past couple of years I have served in the men's leadership organization. We are often called when problems arise or as familiar friends or new neighbors move into our area and need help moving in or out. Though much work is done helping out others in this way the best part of being part of this group is seeing the Lord's gospel in action. Often we meet together and discuss the needs of our local members and friends. Plans are made and put into action to help many as they are in need. It is comforting to know that a group of people are around me that are looking out for the welfare of others and ready to help when relief is needed.
