Hi I'm Amy

I'm a mom. I'm single. I just finished law school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to cook, swim, and hike. I like to hang out with friends and family, especially my two girls. I've been divorced for 7 years and it's been a time of reflection and growth.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the gospel. But, there came a point at a young age, probably around 12, that I didn't want to go to church. My parents let me decide whether or not to go. I didn't know what to call it at the time, but I recognized truth in what I was hearing at church and I felt the spirit. So, I kept on going. I'm glad that I did. My testimony has only gotten stronger as I've come to rely on the truths of the gospel. The church is true. And I love it. I'm thankful that I am a part of it. It has truly changed my life and formed me into the person that I am and who I will become.

How I live my faith

Right now, I work in the church library. Every Sunday, I help people get the things they need to teach their Sunday school classes, like chalk and eraser, pictures, or scriptures. I try to help people as much as I can, share a friendly conversation, and share a warm smile as I go. It's been a great way to meet people in my church.
