Hi I'm Logan

I grew up in Arizona. I am a full time college student and a full time Machinist.I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old, I graduated High school in June of 2010. I am currently going to college full time and am in my second semester. I am a machinist and I love my job. At work I run CNC (computerized numerical control) machines and make airplane parts along with parts that go onto tanks and military vehicles/ artillery. My passion is racing and riding motocross. I have been riding quads and off road vehicles ever since I was 5 years old. That is one of the ways that I release from stress in my life as I am extremely busy. I work 50-55 hours a week and am enrolled in 15 credit hours of school. Last fall I met the love of my life, I proposed to her in May of this year and we are getting married in the temple next spring. We are building a new home together and are absolutely loving life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am the youngest of three children (all boys) and absolutely love my family. My mother is a widow and I only have one brother now as my father and oldest brother were killed in an airplane crash. This happened 5 years ago and had a tremendous impact on my life. My father was my best friend and this happened the summer before I started High school. As you could imagine that is not something that is easy to overcome, but my family and friends were there to help get me through the tough times. In the last couple of years I have become the man of the house as my older brother moved out of town to attend college and now it is just my grandmother, mother and I in our home. My mom has come to depend on me for many things and we are there to provide support for one another. Where I have grown up there have always been members of the Church that I have known and befriended, but never really had the motivation to ask them questions about the Church. I was comfortable where I was at in my life, but it turns out that I was actually crying out for help on the inside. I knew that my father had gone to heaven, but never was absolutely sure where that was or what it was. My family and I were nondenominational Christians and believed in Jesus Christ, we knew the basics of the gospel, but never regularly went to church. Last year I met who now is Fiancee, she introduced me to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I started coming to church with her last December and was baptized this past March. I am the most happy I have ever been in my whole life. I know now where my father and brother are and that they are safe and happy. I am excited that I can have an eternal family and will be able to be with my wife and children forever. I love my life and the Church, the members of the Church have become fantastic friends and family.

How I live my faith

I am a convert as I just explained so I am still learning some of the responsibilities that need to be taken care of in the Church. But, we receive callings in every ward and I am the Sacrament Coordinator. I make sure that the Sacrament is taken care of and that there is bread there so that everybody will be able to take the sacrament on the Sabbath. Among that I also Home teach members of our ward. In which I will meet with them and see how their lives are going as well as provide them a short lesson within the gospel. The Church is all service oriented. We all are always trying to help one another if we see a member/fiend is in need of help or a kind person to simply be there for them. We all go out of our own ways in order to care for one another. We try to show as much love as we can and will in turn help each other be able to help themselves.
