Hi I'm Ron

I have had a medical practice in Arizona for many years. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in a rural, farm setting in the western part of the USA. My school years were in Utah and Washington D.C. The mountains are my favorite place to visit and I love to fish and hike. I am a husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and practicing physician.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family with ties to the Mormon Church dating back to the 1830's. This back ground was a great blessing to me in my early life, but as is the case with everyone, my personal testimony of the truthfulness of the Church came after some effort on my part.  Living a life compatible with the teachings of the Church was helpful, but not sufficient to provide a deep and lasting conviction. I read the Book of Mormon as a young man and followed the recommendation to pray to my Heavenly Father, as stated in Moroni 10:4-5, for a confirmation of the truthfulness of the book. This confirmation, by the Holy Ghost, did indeed come ,as promised, along with an abiding testimony of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have felt the influence of the Holy Ghost in my life on a daily basis. This applies to all aspects of my life. I know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ. I feel their love for me, for my family and for all of God's children. I know that families are intended to be an eternal unit, and that this can be accomplished through sealings in God's Temples here on the earth. I know that the Book of Momon is the word of God, and that it is scripture. The Book of Mormon is another testament, along with the Holy Bible, of the divinity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My faith helps me in every detail of my life. I pray every day to improve my life in some way, to be more the way my Father in Heaven would want me to be. My faith helps me strive to be a better husband, father, grandfather and friend. I pray about my family, my work, those I know and love, and for opportunities for service to those around me. Jesus has given us the pattern to be used for our lives. I want to follow this pattern to the best of my ability. I know that I will receive His grace in this effort. This assurance comes to me because I know how very much He loves His children.
