Hi I'm Christian

I'm an educator. I'm a BYU sports fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work trying to help people and institutions to better educate. I love sports and especially BYU sports. I spend most of my time with my family. In my spare time I play the saxophone, manage fantasy sports, hike, read, learn, and bake some of the best cookies on earth (don't ask my family if that last part is true).

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a family of practicing members of the LDS faith and they taught me how the LDS church can help you come to know God. However, I did not know if that was true for a long time growing up. As I searched the religion and prayed to God for inspiration I've come to have experiences that have convinced me that God works through this church. Although I've never seen God or Jesus Christ, I've come to know them and feel their peace through Mormonism. I wasn't there when Joseph Smith saw God the Father and Jesus Christ, but the peace and warmth in my soul have convinced me that it truly happen. God works through this Church. All of your problems are not erased when you join, but the peace, divine guidance, strength, and faith will carry you through all these difficult times. You can come to know God, because that is my experience, faith, and testimony.

How I live my faith

I study about God to better know him. I try to show the same love and care Christ did/does to all those around me whether or not they are members of the LDS church. I support the church and try to become the type of person I feel Christ wants me to be.
