Hi I'm Joshua Bridge

Born and bred in Queensland, I'm a true blue Aussie, I'm a comforter for those with sorrows, I'm a Missionary, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My Hobbies include reading, bush walking, anime and gaming. I also enjoy talking to people, I enjoy helping others and letting them know they are loved.

Why I am a Mormon

I may of been born into the church, but it wasn't until i was 16 turning 17 that I became truly converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I chose to be a member of the gospel because I see the happiness and joy it brings myself and my family, and because I can testify to the world that I know it is true. It took me a while to find the truth, I was lost in the grips of an addiction and felt like I was in the middle of the ocean with a storm raging all around. This would last for several years until one testimony changed everything. I found hope, I found courage to confess my wrong doings and to want to change. Repentance is change. Now I have the opportunity to serve my God, my Heavenly Father for two years, and I have seen the change in peoples hearts, I've seen rising sucess and crushing falls. I have felt his love for them more than any time before in my life and I wish only that you all be able to feel more fully of this love. I would like to leave my favourite Scripture passage with you, or at least one of my favourites. And it comes from The Holy Bible actually, bet you weren't expecting that. Its found in Romans 8:16-18. It reads: 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. I leave my testimony that we are children of God, that we all have the potential to be glorified in his prescence, and, that the trials of this life, the heartache, pain and tribulations will not compare to the glory and happiness we will have by our Heavenly Father's side

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. From the 22nd of June onward, I will be serving a full-time Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and I'll be serving in the Berlin Germany Mission. But for me living the Gospel is much more then that. For me, its by our actions that we show our Heavenly Father we love him, that we show our fellow man our love for them. We do this through service, actually caring for one another. That's what I try to do.
