Hi I'm Brett

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a general contractor. I have 4 children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was brought up in the LDS Church and didn't know what I had until my family stopped going to church. For awhile I continued to go on my own without a definitive reason except for feeling that there was something there that was good and necessary in my life. As time passed things became more clear and the Holy Spirit bore testimony to me and taught me specific principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Line upon line and precept on precept has a deeper meaning for me as I have thought about my progression in coming closer to God. One of the most important personal revelations for me was to know for myself that Jesus atoned and died for me, that his sacrifice is valid in my life! Further study of the scriptures began to make it clear to me that there was a reason for the way things have happened in history, meaning that God has set up his plan for us and continues to guide us to fulfil his goals. A particularly important scripture from the New Testament in Ephesians chapter 4 verses 11 through 14 makes it clear to me that we continue to need God and his plan and organization in our lives. I know that Jesus Christ was ressurected, He lives and continues to direct His Church today.

How I live my faith

My job in the church is welfare consultant. I get to do things like emergency planning, being prepared for disasters of any kind and just being prepared to live with the everyday problems of our time.
