Hi I'm Ashley

I moved to Arizona when I was 8 years old. I enjoy watching movies, and being with my friends and family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a newlywed and I am loving married life. I enjoy spending time with my husband. I am really into makeup artistry, although I am going to college to become an elementary school teacher. I cannot wait to someday have children of my own, it has been my dream my whole life to become a mommy. My calling in the church is Nursery so I am already learning about teaching children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and have never left. I found no reason to when all my life I have been shown how this gospel is true. Growing up in the church has given me the strength and courage to keep going on in life and I know without a shadow of a doubt it is true. Going to Seminary in high school really helped strengthen my testimony. I learned so much about the history of the Restoration and also about the scriptures. In studying the scriptures, I truly know that this gospel is true. I know that latter day prophets such as Thomas S. Monson are called of God and he speaks to them through revelation. I know that Jesus Christ is our Savior, that he loved us all so much, that he was willing to sacrifice his life and suffer for our sins so that we may have eternal life through repentance. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and restored this church on the earth. I know these things to be true and I am ever grateful for the life that I have in this church.

How I live my faith

My calling in the church is teaching the Nursery age children ages 18months-3 years old. It is amazing to see their pure little minds engaged in the gospel at such a young age. I feel privileged to teach them about the church, although many days, they teach me about the pure love of Christ. I live my faith by seeking out those in need, and they in turn seek me out if I need help. In the church, everyone is a friend and you never feel alone. There is always someone there for you. I love going to church and church activities because it feels so right to be there, you never have to prove yourself. You are always accepted for who you are, not what you've done or what you're going to do.
