Hi I'm Diane

I grew up in Illinois. I am the only member in my family. I work as a registered nurse. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading and hiking. I have four children and 4 grandchildren. I have volunteered with dog rescue groups. I work as a nurse. My chosen field for nursing is hospice.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew nothing about the Mormon church. One day two missionaries came to the door and began teaching the gospel. I knew instantly that this is what I had been looking for. The questions I had about God were answered. I had always wondered why there were prophets in the Bible and none living to guide us. I wondered why God didn't care for his children on earth now. The Book of Mormon and words from a living prophet provide daily guidance and comfort for me. It has been a difficult journey being the only member in my family. Yet with all the trials I wouldn't change a thing. I am so grateful that the gospel was restored and that there is a prophet to lead and guide us.

How I live my faith

I have worked in the church teaching Sunday School, visiting the sick and doing community volunteer projects. I believe that faith requires action and that action is helping and serving those in the community whether they are a member of the church or not.
