Hi I'm Alicia

I was lost until the day I prayed for Heavenly Father's guidance. Today I am found again. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy baking, hiking, swimming, reading science fiction, and going to or participating in Renaissance Faire. I love learning more about people and what makes them tick, and being the ear to listen. I am working on my Bachelors of Science in Applied Behavioral Science currently. I have been in the Navy for five years.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a point in my life where I looked back at the person I was and where I was in life. I saw a lonely, empty woman who didn't know what way to go. So one day I said a prayer to Heavenly Father for direction, asking what church to go to (as I had no idea where to start). Soon after that I was invited to an Institute class then soon after that to a LDS Sacrament meeting. I was overcome with a feeling of relief and love each time I went. Of coming home. I prayed about getting baptized and converting and only felt more sure and more like I had found the answer to a hard asked question. Close to a month later I was baptized. That day is still one of the strongest memories I have, the emotions I felt that day and the feeling that overcame me cannot be described in so many words. I can only say that a weight was lifted from my shoulders and I felt so much joy as Heavenly Father welcomed me to his true church.

How I live my faith

I participate in my ward mostly through visiting teaching assignments. I greatly enjoy the time I spend with my fellow sisters. Hearing their stories from growing up in the church or even their own conversion stories.
