Hi I'm Annette

I was born in Milwaukee, WI, but have lived in Indiana since I was 10. l sell stuff on eBay! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happy person with a wonderful husband of 23 years! I don't have any children, but I love everyone else's kids because I'm just a kid at heart! I graduated from International Business College with a Secretarial certificate and went on to own and operate my own lawn-care company with my husband for 10 years after working part-time at UPS for 5 years. It was really hard work and took a toll on my body, but I love gardening and working outdoors! For the past 6 years, my husband and I have been selling our goods on eBay. I love working from home, but hope to someday have my own antique shop.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love this church! It gives me the answers to life's big questions. It provides me with an eternal perspective of my life. No matter which church building you go to in the world, the gospel lessons are the same. It reassures me that this is Christ's church, and He is directing this work! I have always been a spiritual individual but had anger-management issues when I was younger. I found the peace, joy, and happiness that we are meant to have by accepting and living the gospel of Jesus Christ! I'm so grateful for the knowledge I've been given that there is a Living Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and twelve Apostles of the Lord on the face of the earth today who talk with our Heavenly Father so that this church, and it's members, can be lead and guided the way that Heavenly Father wants it to be. I have such a wonderful church family! I just don't know what I would do without them! I have church friends all over the country! It's such a wonderful feeling to belong to such a wonderful part of Heavenly Father's plan and know I can go anywhere, have friends instantly, and fit in! I'm not perfect and have trials and challenges just like everyone else; but I know that with the Lord's help, I can face those trials and challenges with strength, courage, gratitude, and a softer heart. The church helps me to realize that I am a child of God!

How I live my faith

I have served in many positions in the church which help me to feel loved and needed and currently help members with their emergency preparedness and food storage needs. I also have the privilege of being assigned to visit monthly with three wonderful women in the church. My week is always so much better when I attend church on Sunday and fellowship with other members. I try to follow the counsel given to pray in the morning, at meals, and in the evening; read my scriptures and church publications as often as possible; serve others; and teach others about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to live in a free country that allows me to worship as I choose, and I'm so blessed that the Lord directed me to fill out a card to receive a free Book of Mormon. My life is so much better than I could have ever imagined or planned for it to be since becoming a member 18 years ago! I try not to take it for granted by striving every day to be obedient to His commandments and living my life like He would want me to!
