Hi I'm Marcy

I'm a full time wife, mother of five and healer. I change lives by moving energy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married over 25 years and love being married more each year. I have five children, one a college graduate and working professionally, one in college, two on church missions, and one in High School. My husband and children are my favorite associations and I love being a mom to teenagers and young adults. I am a cosmetologist and have cut hair since I got married. I love to make others feel good about themselves and having beautiful hair on your head is the best way to do that. I also work with energetic and emotional healing and loved the discovery that I have doing it for 30 years with people who sit in my cosmetologists chair. I served a church mission to Taiwan before I got married and that has been a foundation of service and love of others that the rest of my life has been built upon. God is the foundation of my marriage, my parenting, my service to others and my self confidence as a woman of great worth and power in today's world.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents brought me up in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I went all the way through school feeling like a very square girl in a round world and not fitting in. But I am now eternally grateful that I lived the standards I was taught and obeyed the commandments of God and have no major regrets in my life that my posterity would uncover. I served as a church missionary when I was 21 and there discovered that I had felt the whisperings of the Spirit of God for many years and not recognized them. The restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true in any language and in any country. I felt the power of the holy scriptures as I sat in a cold apartment in Taiwan holding a Chinese Book of Mormon that I could not read. It was the word of God no matter if I could read it or not, as was the Bible. I saw the power of Jesus Christ change the lives of people who had never known who He was but who had been searching for Him. Everything good in my life has come from my being in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Atonement of Christ brings me renewed hope each day that I can become a better person and more like Him. Hardships are many and disappointments are consistent but having my life focused and centered in Christ has made all the difference in the world.

How I live my faith

I work in the Church first and foremost by being a stable woman, a dedicated wife and an engaged parent. Only when my own life is in order with God can I effectively serve and care for my family and others. But gratefully, I have others who support me and care for me when I am struggling. I visit and love other women in my church congregation and they visit me. I work in a presidency to teach and serve the women in our church. They all come from different backgrounds and life situations, but we find a common bond of sisterhood that unites us and revitalizes us to go on and keep trying to do better in our lives. We play together, worship together, cry together and come closer to God together.
