Hi I'm Jen

I'm a wife, a mom to three wonderful children and a full-time student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, a mother to three wonderful children and a full-time student. I love history, which is what I'm studying, and what also got me involved in scrapbooking. I'm a convert to the LDS church and besides my husband and children the only active member of the church. I live a crazy, busy, but wonderful life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was searching for something even as a child. I knew church should be more than just holidays and that it should be more for the children. I knew the right church was out there. When the sister missionaries came to our home and started teaching the gospel, I knew that it was the truth. The LDS church had a plan for families to be together forever. It told me where I came from, why I was here and what would happen to me and my family after we died. It had a Word of Wisdom, for which I was especially grateful for. My parents drank and smoke and I hated it. To me, this all made sense. Now as an adult, it makes even more sense. I love raising my children with the gospel, helping me to teach them between right and wrong. I love knowing that I will be with my husband and children forever. To me, the church is perfect for my life.

How I live my faith

I think the best way I live the gospel is by trying to set a good example around me. I try to avoid even the appearance of evil. I avoid bars or places which I would feel uncomfortable having my Savior seeing me at. I try to make good choices and be kind to those around me. I currently work with the children in my ward, including the cub scouts. Those little children teach me so much about simple faith and remembering to be happy about the simple things in life.
