Hi I'm Jennette

I am a wife and mother, a registered nurse and a certified diabetes educator. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother of 4 children. I have been blessed to have a job that I love as a certified diabetes educator and a registered nurse.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I find great strength in learning about my ancestors and their beliefs. Their stories of courage, along with other's, build my faith and strengthen my resolve to do better. I realize that I am part of a chain and that both my ancestors and my posterity are affected by how I choose to live and how I treat others.

How I live my faith

As a mother I have learned that when I live the gospel I gain many of the answers to my questions about child rearing. I feel the truthfulness of the gospel in my heart. I love the scriptures and have had my questions and concerns answered frequently as I study them. I am grateful for the opportunity to talk with my Heavenly Father in prayer. I think it is such a privilege to have the chance to talk with Him. I know He answers prayers. Another great blessing is learning from a living prophet; it is something from which I gain great peace.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Jennette
Yes! The New Testament is a favorite of mine! I love to read about the Savior's life. His life serves as a guiding light for me. My love and understanding of His life grows each time I read it. Show more Show less
