Hi I'm Audrey

I'm a Mormon. I was raised with family that strongly encouraged faith in Jesus Christ and living His gospel as he taught it.

About Me

Growing up, I was taught in the home and learned many skills. I love knitting and crocheting for the beauty it can create. I love to read inspirational real or fictional stories, especially if they encourage morality and courage. I love to be active and social. I really love volleyball, swimming, and helping those around me. I am pursuing a career in Massage Therapy because I am a strong believer in the power of physical touch; a hug can spark renewed feelings in one who is burdened by the world.

Why I am a Mormon

Through various events in my life, even dating those outside the membership of this church and conversing with them about their religious beliefs, I grew to understand how imperative it was for me to realize the knowledge I already had. I knew that only this church was given the Authority of Jesus Christ--permission to act in his name--to administer all saving ordinances required to gain everything our Heavenly Father has promised. Through the Holy Spirit, I know that Joseph Smith did see God and his Son Jesus Christ, and spoke with them face to face in order to restore Christ's church in full order. And I know that through that unbroken chain of authority, our Prophet, Thomas S Monson, is truly the mouthpiece for our Savior, Jesus Christ, today. I am very grateful to be a part of this church, which not only helps us attain our eternal potential, but also stresses the importance of every soul, male and female, to hear of this great and last restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

The Relief Society has been one of the most affirming groups ever created; we are so united in belief and duty in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the Visiting Teaching program within the Relief Society, assignments are given that we may always share the yoke of duty and burden, that our sisters in the Gospel do not go forgotten, but are always reminded that they are needed and important, Like Eve to Adam, we too are a most crucial part in all creation. We begin teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to children as soon as they start to comprehend. I have been privileged to teach in the Nursery class, ages 18 months to 3 years, and immensely enjoyed seeing them learn and begin to emanate that pure love of Christ. The Young Women's program was and always will be a substantial guide in my life. As a teen what we were taught about morals, goals, and our divine inheritance, has shaped me into the honest and virtuous woman I am today. I encourage every young women to evaluate this program and incorporate its teachings into her life.
