Hi I'm Dawn

I grew up in rural Missouri. Now, I am a southern gal. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My most favorite job is as a mommy to my son. He is my heart and the light of my life. Everything I do is for Heavenly Father and him. I love that job best of all!I love my profession too! I am a massage therapist in which I am serving others daily. Service has always been so important to me. I think that is why my two schooling paths were service oriented...massage and early childhood. This leads to my other love, which is teaching to any age, but especially preschool, including infants and toddlers. I am a convert and a returned missionary. I love my family and this Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I gained a testimony of the true and living church at a young age. My mother was converted to the Gospel when she was 18. She and my dad were married a year or two later. For the first 25 years of their marriage my dad took the lessons for baptism. About 22 or so years into all those lessons, when I was 11, I decided to be baptized. I guess having heard the lessons my whole life I just knew it was true. I know Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ in our time. I know that the Savior lives and loves me and everyone. He lived and died for each of us and lives now. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. It coupled with the Bible give me strength and guidance. God lives, loves me, and answers my prayers. I am so thankful for my membership in the true and living church. I know families can be eternal. I am grateful God sends the Holy Ghost to guide me. I know you can know all this and more if you only have the desire to know for yourself. Pray and Heavenly Father will let you know it is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example and loving and serving others. By serving others, even if it is just holding a door or smiling it shows your love and example of the Savior.
