Hi I'm Foster Truman.

I live in Las Vegas, attend BYU, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of two, with a younger sister who is three years younger than me. I have an amazing family that supports me in pretty much everything I do. I love to do almost anything related to sports, whether playing or watching them. I love skiing, I love football, and I love baseball. I love movies and have worked on various student film crews at BYU. I am currently a Biophysics major at BYU. I have been called to serve in the Peru Lima East Mission and report August 2nd to the Mexico City MTC. I can't wait to serve the Lord!

Why I am a Mormon

Like a lot of members of our Church, I was raised a Mormon and baptized into the Church as an eight-year old boy. However, I continue to faithfully follow the Church's teachings because of the immense peace and calm the Gospel has brought me in the hardest of times and because of my love for Jesus Christ. Like anyone else in life, I have had my fair share of struggles and trials. However, the Gospel has consistently raised me up from those trials and given me the strength to go on when I felt I couldn't. Christ knows exactly what we are going through always. I am so grateful for his sacrifice and for his eternal example to us. The Church has been there for me all along, and I am so grateful for that.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in various ways. I love to read the scriptures on a daily basis. I find comfort and peace in them that I can't often find anywhere else. I love to read and listen to General Conference talks from our churches leaders and apostles. Their words are encouraging and lift me up to do better and push myself to be better. I enjoy attending the temple and receiving the peace and blessings it brings. I enjoy serving in callings and helping those in the ward around me. I love to serve other people, and I am constantly looking for new ways to help those around me who may be in need of a friend or comfort. I continually attempt to further my relationship with my Heavenly Father by praying to and conversing with Him on a daily basis.
