Hi I'm Kiri Malolo

I am a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and I hope to be one for the rest of my life! I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was fortunate to have been born a member of this church and to have been raised in a very LDS friendly environment. Before my mission, I was going to college to become a stage manager. I love all aspects of theatre, but stage management speaks to me most. I hope to continue my studies when I get home. For a while, I didn't appreciate the blessings I had in the church. I took them for granted, and kind of drifted away. I didn't even notice that my life was different until someone very close to me asked me where my light went. That hit me, and I finally saw how dark things had gotten around me. I was making all the little mistakes that accumulated and quickly lead to big regrets. I did my best to turn things around. After a lot of work, I found myself on the plane to go the the MTC to start my mission. When I had gotten there, I felt such relief and love coming from thousands of people all dedicating their lives to serve the Lord. Each one of us has a story and our journeys have lead us here. I am currently serving my mission in Seattle Washington and I am loving every minute of it! I have grown closer to God by reading in the Book of Mormon everyday and practicing the teachings in it and the Bible. Developing a strong relationship with God has changed my life for the better and helped me to find true happiness in almost everything I do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am not a part of this church simply because I was born and raised in it, I am a member because I have found truth in this gospel. I have been given love, comfort, strength, and so many more blessings because I chose to live my life to God's will to the best of my abilities. I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon, and I have received an answer through the power of the Holy Ghost that this book is true and that Joseph Smith was a prophet, called of God, who served God by spreading His gospel to all the world. I have felt this in my heart and I cannot deny my love and faith for this gospel.

How I live my faith

I try to be as involved with church activities as I can and to share my knowledge as testimony with any and all willing to listen. As a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I try to represent Jesus Christ in all that I do. When I internalize His teachings, I feel His love heavily influencing my life in a positive way. It makes me happy! :)
