Hi I'm Alex

I'm a web developer, college student, and writer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Recently married, I am enjoying my new life with my wife. We live in a small apartment on a tight budget, but are rich in love. I also love reading and writing stories. Growing up I read novels voraciously and still love reading when I have the time. I recently finished the rough draft of my first novel and hope to someday see it in print. I am a computer geek and am currently employed as a web developer.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormons and they raised me taking me to church every week and living the gospel of Jesus Christ in our home. I don't remember a time that I didn't know I had a loving Father in heaven. My faith in the Savior and testimony in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has at times been brought into question as I have been exposed to other beliefs, or lack thereof, but a multitude of quite, but powerful, experiences--evidences to me that there is a God and that he loves me--have guided me to embrace the faith of my parents. I have found that peace in this life, and an assurance of good things in the next, comes through following the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have also felt a witness from God that that gospel it taught in its fullness in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am the photographer for my local ward, meaning I get to take pictures at events and also of new members so that the ward leadership can get to know them. I enjoy helping the ward members develop friendships and get to know one another.
