Hi I'm Bruce

I'm a Mormon. I have grown up in the church and have enjoyed a life of rich experiences.

About Me

I'm an outdoor enthusiast and adrenaline junkie. My background/hobbies have included: Martial Arts primarily Wing Chung Kung Fu, Road Cycling, Technical Scuba Diving using Closed Circuit Rebreather Technology, Rock Climbing, both Traditional and Sport, Trail Running including the Baker Lake +50k, Mountain Biking, Snow Skiing, and now running fast cars during HPDE and Lapping days at Pacific Raceways. I'm a Step father of two very interesting boys and am married to the best woman on the planet. For my career I work at a local aerospace company as an engineer with a background in acoustics and near-field noise or sonic environment….going on 22 years.

Why I am a Mormon

Through prayer, study and serving others I have felt the Holy Ghost bear witness of the truths I was striving to live, provide comfort during difficult times and inspire/direct me when I needed direction or warning. I strive to remember the Savior on a daily basis through daily prayer, study, serving others when called upon and trying to carry a positive attitude in an analytical environment. I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His church through a lifelong experience of relying on my Father in Heaven for his support and feeling the influence, comfort and peace of the Holy Ghost. All the truth I know has been has been established through the peace of feeling my Father in Heaven's answer to my prayers and in remembering the sacrifice and atonement of His son Jesus Christ for me. I love and bear witness of the Savior Jesus Christ, his mission and purpose within my life and hope to follow after his example.

How I live my faith

I attend church on a weekly basis, serve as an assistant in the High Priest group, teach priesthood lessons on most Sunday's, visit people during the month to assure their needs are met, serve in service projects both Ward and community related and attend the temple.
