Hi I'm Heather

I'm an Arizona native and have lived there all my life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being a mom, wife, sister, daughter, and friend. Some of my hobbies are reading and crafting. I love music and I like to sing or play the piano when I have time. I had the wonderful opportunity to accompany a choral group in college. I was home-schooled for much of my elementary and junior high years and all of high school. Cooking has become something I enjoy more and more. I like to try new recipes. although my family sometimes wishes I didn't.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from an active member family who taught me from the scriptures and by example. I chose to follow Christ's gospel as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I feel good when I keep the commandments and follow the gospel. I know Heavenly Father wants me to be happy and I have happiness and peace as I live the gospel.

How I live my faith

I have many wonderful opportunities to serve in my ward family. For they are truly a family to me. I get to visit two or three sisters in their homes and get to know them better every month. The children's organization in my ward is called the Primary. I am blessed to serve, teach, and love these children. I try my best to read and follow the scriptures and pray every day. I also have prayer and scripture time with my family every day. Doing this helps me and my family be ready for whatever the world throws at us each day. I am able to volunteer at my children's schools occasionally and get to know their teachers and other parents. It's so nice to find we often have many things in common and can relate as we support each other and the children.
