Hi I'm Lyndze

I love rain boots, kittens, and being a Mormon!

About Me

I'm always up for adventures and I'm not afraid to try new things. I was born and raised in the Seattle area so rainy days are my favorite. I love the outdoors--everything from the sun and the sand to the cliffs and the mountains. In my free time I enjoy playing sports and being with my family and friends. I'm a busy college student at BYU-Provo and I work as a dietetic technician at a rehab center (my dream job!). I'm currently serving a mission in the McAllen Texas mission.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young child I wasn't exposed much to God or church. My dad had grown up in the LDS church but stopped going at the age of 18. One day when I was nine years old a set of missionaries knocked on our front door and asked to share a message with us. They began to come over frequently, teaching my younger brother and I about the gospel. As a family we started to go to church on Sundays. Even as a child I had questions about life but I didn't know where to find them. The missionaries somehow had all the answers. I soon told my dad that I wanted to be baptized. I waited a year until he was worthy to do so and at the age of ten I entered the waters of baptism. Then in 2010, my family was sealed in the temple for time and all eternity. Because of those two young missionaries who knocked on our door, my family has been eternally blessed and I will be forever grateful.

How I live my faith

I currently help out the sister missionaries in my church. I love it because I have the opportunity to help teach others the gospel, like the missionaries once taught me!
