Hi I'm Lindsey Hope
I'm a Musician, I'm a Missionary, and I'm a Mormon.
I'm 19 years old and I am leaving to begin my 18 month mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints tomorrow! I will be serving in the Kennewick Washington area. For the last year I have attended school at BYU-I in Rexburg and I have been studying music education with an emphasis in choral music. I love to sing, play the guitar, piano, and ukulele. I have an older brother who loves to mess around with his guns, a younger brother who I love to jam with in the car, and two little sisters who are so sweet and incredibly musical. My parents are the best in my opinion and have raised me to work hard to find success in all I do.
Why I am a Mormon
I am a member of this church because of the feelings i have in my heart whenever I attend. I feel full of light when I am following it's teachings. I know that the light I feel must come from God. I know that this church is true and because I know it, I'm 100% willing to leave for 18 months so that I can go teach others about the love that God has for them.
How I live my faith
I live my faith by doing the little things every day that Christ wants us to do. I study my scriptures daily and pray as often as I can. I attend all my church meetings and work hard to try and get the most out of what I'm taught. I try to rely on the promptings of the spirit to reach out to those that may need a helping hand. I love service because it helps to bring me closer to my Heavenly Father. Ultimately, I love my faith by standing as a witness of Christ by being an example of Him.
