Hi I'm Kristin

I'm a Mormon. I was born and raised in Utah. I currently live in Arizona. I am a happy mother of 4 and a wife for 14 years :)

About Me

I am a very happy wife and mother of four. I have been very blessed to have two boys (13, 11) and two girls (6,2). They are truly the greatest things of my life. I have been married to my husband for 14 years and I look forward to 50 more! I have been teaching preschool out of my home for the past 10 years. I started this business because I always have had a love for children as well as for teaching. Running the preschool out of my home has helped me to be able to bring in a little bit of extra income while being able to stay home with my children. I am also on my final year of school for getting my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I look forward to being able to teach out of a public school as well as have my home back some day :0) I have the opportunity to serve as the primary president in our ward. I absalutley love my calling. It is very rewarding in knowing that I am helping build a foundation in the children because they will be the future of our church, as well as our country.

Why I am a Mormon

I am very blessed to have been born into the church. But that is not the only reason why I am a mormon. I have had many testimony building moments in my life. The church has always been there for me. I have had very many rocky roads in my past. I have made choices that made my early adult life very difficult. But because I chose to take the church very seriously and make it the center of my life, I was able to get through those tough times. The church has honestly made me who I am today! It has given me the foundation to being a good mother, knowing how to direct my kids, and help give me guidlines to help them make it through their teenage years. The teenagers have so much facing them already and the church provides a firm foundation for them and daily semenary as well as weekly mutual meetings. I think this helps keep them to stay focused. Most of all it just feels right. It feels good when I watch conferences, when I can feel the spirit when I go to church, when I have that testimony building moment. I am proud to be a mormon.

How I live my faith

I serve as the primary president in my ward. This helps bring many blessings to my family. I go to primary each week, have weekly presidency meetings as well. I go to church every Sunday along with my whole family. We all love going to share faith with our family and friends in our ward. On Mondays we have our Family Home Evening nights. I love that the church has set a side one particular day each week for us to all spend with our family. We don't plan any meetings or activities for Monday. This day is set aside for just our families. t On Wednesdays my boys go to Mutual and Scouts. The scouting program is endorced by the church. Even though it is very time demanding and many steps to take, it helps our boys build character, life skills, and much more. When they earn their eagle they will have a higher chance for job employment as well as higher military advances. Every night we have family prayer. We believe that "A family that prayers together stays together". This is a family tradition that we have before we go to bed. We read our scriptures and then go to bed. Even our 2-year-old knows that is what we do :0).
