Hi I'm Brandon

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brandon and I’m a father of 3 little girls. I love being a father and the joy my kids bring into my life. From a very young age I planned on a professional career in the medical field and even graduated from college with a science degree. However, I currently manage a sales territory in Arizona and I love my job – it’s funny where life takes you. Even though I’ve gained a few pounds since high school (by the way, my wife is a great cook!), I still like playing and watching any sport that includes a ball. I spent my life growing up singing, playing the piano and participating in many sports. In my spare time you would catch me drawing and doing various art projects. In high school I was able to expand my talents in many areas. Playing football, volleyball and running track taught me a lot about team work and it was the grueling practices that taught me about hard-work. Participate in Honor Choir gave me a better understanding about music and way it can bring joy into someones life. It was these type of experiences and many more that have helped shaped me into who I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? I feel blessed in life because I have never really questioned my beliefs. Obeying the teachings of Jesus Christ have always been a natural part of my life. I have always wanted to be a good person and I knew there was more to life than partying and having fun. Finding an answer and purpose to life began while I was growing up in the church. This kept me true to myself and my potential as a student, community/church leader, husband and father. The most important aspect of being a Mormon that I find peace in is the principal of eternal families. I know that if I live my life according to the teaching and commandments of Jesus Christ I can live together in his presence, with my family, for eternity. It's this burning desire that makes me want to be a better citizen, community/church leader, husband and father that I can possibly be. I know this church is true because of the joy it has brought into my life. I see the joy it brings to the faces of my children each and every Sunday as they go to primary and learn from their teachers about Jesus. As a father I couldn't be more proud!

How I live my faith

Living my faith can sometimes be a full time job. It's very easy to get caught up in the day to day issues life throws at you. However, I strive to focus each and everyday on the eternal aspects of life. My family and spiritual progression mean a lot to me. As a Mormon, I had the opportunity to serve a 2 year mission in Sapporo, Japan. It was the best two years of my life and the Japanese people will always have a special place in my heart. It was there that I met some of the most influential people in the world. The Japanese people are some of the most caring and hardworking people I have ever met. I’m currently a young men's adviser in my church and I enjoy every minute of it. Being in a home full of girls I finally have the opportunity to do “manly things!” Teaching and working with the youth has been a great blessing in my life. They're constantly teaching me and are so further along spiritually, then I was at their age. If they're our future, then I'm pretty excited!
