Hi I'm Sara

I grew up in Utah. I’m a Creative Writing major, and I love books. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sara, I’m in my early 20s living in Idaho with my husband. We are both going to school, he is almost done with his J.D. (hooray!) and I’m almost done with my Bachelor’s in Creative Writing. I grew up in a small town in Southern Utah and miss the red rocks terribly. My husband and I met in Washington, D.C. and have been in love ever since!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but actually left the practice for a few years. When I met my husband, I realized that I wanted to return to the principles and truths that I knew to be true so I could marry him in the Lord’s temple for time and all eternity. I love this gospel with all my heart and every day am grateful for the opportunity I have to be a member of it. I know the blessings I have been given in this life are through and because of my Heavenly Father and every day my testimony of His gospel is strengthened. I love the church, I love the people I am blessed to know through it, and I love being a member. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have of eternal families and eternal life. I love my family and I am so grateful to know that there is life after death where I can and will be with them forever. I am grateful for how the gospel has strengthened my marriage and for the peace that it brings into our home.

How I live my faith

I love attending church. I have met some of the most amazing people I know through it. I play the piano for the portion of our meetings where the women meet together and are taught principles of the gospel. I love the spirit and feeling music brings to our meetings. I love the women I am able to connect with every week, and many of them will hold a special place in my heart forever. I have the opportunity to visit two of my sisters in the gospel every month and am grateful for the opportunity I have had to get to know amazing women I may have otherwise not connected with.
