Hi I'm Jason

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband and a father of two boys. One is 2 and a half and the other is 1 so my wife and I have our hands full, and I give most of the credit to my wife who is with our boys all day while I am at work. I have a desire to finish school my wife and I were both studying when our lives were changed with an emergency c-section birth our first son who had heart complications and spent his first month in this world in the intensive care unit of 3 different hospitals. I am now making my education a must in my life. I enjoy playing sports of all types especially here in Arizona where it is HOT I can enjoy water sports. I have a great love for my family and I enjoy being with them. Unfortunately my job in the construction field requires me to leave the state for several days nearly every week, leaving my wife and kids at home only able to speak with them on the phone, but I know that it will not last forever and I look forward to meeting goals that I have made for myself.

Why I am a Mormon

I am the offspring of converts. My Mother was actually a baptized member of the church but her parents were not active in the church. My Dad married my mom and they received several missionaries, but it wasn't until one day that my folks were painting at the house and the sister missionaries stopped by and offered to help, that they had a change of heart. The sister missionaries returned in scrub clothes to help paint, my parents couldn't believe it. They later took the lessons my mom was reactivated and my dad was baptized. The life that they choose to live and the person they taught me to be has helped me to understand that the principles taught in this church must be worth a great deal. As I reflected on this same question in my adolecence as I prepared to serve a mission I needed to know if this was really true. I prayed to my father in heaven to know if the things I have been taught and studied (book of mormon) are true and I felt like I had received and answer in the affirmative. I decided to serve a mission and was greatly blessed with knowledge of the gospel but more so with a greater understanding of god's plan for me as well as a firm testimony that I belong to his resored church in the latter days, I am ever greatful to my parents for making the decision to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints... The Mormons

How I live my faith

On my mission it was a priviledge to be able to set aside an hour to study the gospel, and I am truly greatful for the many things that I learned. Now with two children under 3 it is a little harder to have that luxury. I love to study the scriptures , the Bible and the Book of Mormon, and I learn something new each time that I do. My wife and I enjoy teaching our children simple lessons from the scriptures, mostly on Monday night (family night). I try to live my faith each day in all I do and say. My co-workers say that I am different when I do not endulge myself in their vulgar conversations, language, and actions. I try and fail everyday to live my life as the savior lived his, I have a great desire to impact someone each day for the better and serve those around me. My faith is my life and I hope to be a worthy and a profitable servant of the Lord.
