Hi I'm Drew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a proud Father of 3 (and counting), and an incredibly lucky Husband to a wonderful wife. I have been blessed with a gift of hands that can heal many ailments. I was raised in the Deep South with a passion for college football, and a love for great BBQ foods! I lived in Southern California for several years for postgraduate schooling and immediately fell in love with downhill mountain biking. When I am on the top of Mammoth Mountain, time stands still, and all my worries are gone. I enjoy exercising with my wife, or any activity with her for that matter! I tinker with the acoustic guitar here and there, I would like to thing Im better than I actually am :-) I was raised by 2 great parents that have a true love for the Savior. Having both been raised in wonderful Catholic families, my parents were also raised by loving parents who had a great love for the Savior. I hope I can continue to raise my children with a love for Him as well.

Why I am a Mormon

As long as I can remember attending church as a very small child, I have always felt the Spirit, especially during primary school and singing songs. Children have such an innocence about them, and I found myself as a very young child having a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ simply by the way I felt inside. Having studied the scriptures later in life as a young teen and adult, those early Spiritual feelings were only added upon. In short, I believe the way I do because of how the Spirit confirms to me in my soul.

How I live my faith

I am the building coordinator. This means all weekly (non-Sunday) activities must be scheduled through me in order to make sure sections of the church building are available when needed. In our building, there are 3 separate congregations which meet every Sunday at different times. So during the week, these 3 congregations need to reserve chruch rooms for things such as Youth Activities, Weddings, Funeral services, basketball games, etc.
