Hi I'm Kent

I'm an Executive Recruiter, a telephone customer support rep, and a husband. I like computer networking and food. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an Executive Recruiter, a telephone customer support rep, and a husband. I have 3 cats and a beautiful wife. I dabble in computer networking, I'm a choir director, and I'm a Mormon. I have a 12+ year history in the recruiting business, and 13+ years in the husband business. My wife and I were sealed for all eternity in the Manti, Utah temple. While working in recruiting, I have also been fortunate to work as the systems administrator for our computer network, handled all the HR and accounting, and have now finally decided to strike out on my own and form my own company... a bit risky in this economy, but lots of fun! I have a family background in construction, and value hard work. But the most important thing about me is that I LOVE good food and watch way too much TV.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a Mormon home, but I believe everyone reaches a point that they will want to know what God's nature REALLY is and what is really true. I was 15. I decided that if God could answer Joseph Smith's prayer directly, he could answer mine. I prayed to know if the Book of Mormon was truly inspired of God and if Joseph Smith truly was called as a prophet. I received an answer. I know it is true! I have since served a full time mission in Japan, married a beautiful bride, and endured many challenges together. Through it all, my faith gives me strength. I am grateful to our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the amazing gift he has given us all of the opportunity to repent and become more like him each day.

How I live my faith

I am the choir director for our local ward. I flap my arm while the talented people sing :)

Does The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints endorse political parties?

The laws of God are constant. Political parties are transient and constantly shifting and changing. I consider myself to be conservative, and have very strong opinions about personal responsibility, but the Church does NOT endorse specific parties. Show more Show less

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

All missionaries are volunteers and they pay for their own missions. In fact all positions in the church are voluntary, and we have no paid clergy. We are each responsible for maintaining and growing God's kingdom on Earth. Show more Show less
