Hi I'm Uila

bloodline from Samoa & Tonga, served a LDS mission in Costa Rica, my bestfriend who I married from Honduras, I am Mormon.

About Me

A mother of an Active Toddler, I speak 3 Languages and counting, and I am Mormon. I love to play volleyball on my spare time, where there IS spare time. I work full time, and try to balance whatever life throws at me. I love to travel and living life to the fullest. My family means everything to me and even though I'm not perfect, I've found a man that loves those imperfections.

Why I am a Mormon

I served a full time LDS mission in Costa Rica, and I've always been asked THIS question. MY answer has never faltered, there is no other religion that can promise an Eternal Family. I know we have to do our part, but thats the blessing of having the gospel in our lives. His eternal plan is perfect and as long as we try to do our part, everything else will work itself out. I love the temples and the blessings we receive from it. I cannot imagine how my life wouldve been before I became a mother. The happiness my child brings into my life is indescribable. It brings me even more joy to know that I can be together with not only him, but my husband forever. Repentence is powerful, and knowing that my Heavenly Father has given me that opportunity in my life to repent of my errors, it testifys to me the pure love that He has for me and everyone who choses to accept him in their lives. I know the power of prayer is real. He listens and is with us always. I am grateful for a living prophet in our latter-day and for the guidance that he gives us. I know the scriptures are true and that they have been translated correctly. I love the Lord, I love the plan of Salvation and know the truthfulness of the gospel is there, only if we open our hearts to accept it, he will provide the way.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a pianist in my ward. Music has always been a passion in my life, and this is only another doorway to bless the life of others through a tool that knows no boundary. Music touches the lives of others no matter where you are from. This tool helps everyone including myself break down the barriers that we may have in our lives, and be more receptive to the serenity of holiness around us when we are at church or when we are mediating. I love that something so simple can be so powerful to change people's lives in an instant. I am blessed to have this talent and have a great testimony that you can talk to anyone in the world about the gospel no matter what language you speak, MUSIC is the one connection that can speak for you.
